When choosing a cellular provider, coverage is the most important
aspect. How can you use your phone to its fullest if it doesn't get good
reception in your home area? There are other factors to consider, of
course -- price, phone selection, customer service -- but none of that
matters if the coverage isn't there. That's why we're bringing you this
review tool. By entering in your location information and selecting a
carrier you can see what others have to say about coverage in the region.
Below you can enter in your ZIP code, or enter in your city, state, and
street location. The street is optional, but the more specific the
information the more filtered the reviews. This way you can check to see
if that carrier with a cool new phone model will provide good service in
your area. What's the use of a killer phone if you get poor service?
We hope this tool, which pulls from over 4000 reviews (reviews are
aggregated from Going Cellular and our sister sites; BBGeeks and Prepaid
Reviews) helps you find more specific information which can help you
make a more informed decision on your cellular purchase.
I recently switched from AT&T contract based plan because I just couldn't keep up with the exorbitant monthly bills, not to mention their mediocre at best customer service. This time I went for prepaid mobile phone which i bought at Wal Mart. The plan is Straight Talk and though the phone is a no bells-and-whistles cell, it's perfect for texting and talking. The plan comes with unlimited calls, unlimited text, unlimited web access for just $45. By far the best plan out there right now.
I have the AT&T Go phone for $1.00 a day and 10 cents a minutes. I have not seen those 15 cent text messages, the only ones i get are from AT&T. I only had it for a month, usually someone just leaves a voice mail, coz im not there to answer it. how do you know if the 25 cents a minute plan would be bettter if I seem to miss a lot of calls and someone just wnats to leave voice mails for me. would the 25 cents a minute be better?
I've had the Go Phone for about 6 weeks- and it's OK..the thing that is REALLY driving me nutz are the Unsolicited Ads to sell me Ringtones, which A T & T,in their COLOSSal nerve, CHARGES me for! DOES ANYbody have any idea of how to make THIS STOP? PLEASE let me know if you do! Despite repeated calls & E-mails I CANNOT seem to shut these Damn Messages oFF! HElp! Thanks.. TMoran
HORRIBLE Customer Service. I use the Pick your Plan service and my payment is deducted from my checking account every month. Two months ago there was a "glitch" and they withdrew double the amount. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service. They have openly admitted this is their fault but still 2 months later they have yet to refund me. I have been a loyal customre but am now changing to Tmobile. Of course I will get my refund first.
