Since their inception, camera phones have been an industry standard. Head down to your local cell dealer sometime and check out the features of the phones they have in stock. Maybe, maybe you’ll be able to find one sans camera, and if you do, it’s gong to be a way outdated model. Camera phones are so hot, in fact, that Motorola is taking them a step further: Video phones. That’s what they’re introducing with the Z10, a video phone that can hold 24 hours of footage. Motorola is saying that it is a “complete, pocket-sized, mobile film studio.” I’m already salivating.

The Z10 allows users to edit video, create transitions between scenes, and add title slides and music. The 2.2-inch QVGA screen displays video at 30 frames per second. It also supports an external memory card with up to 32GB of storage.
This all sounds out of this world, and for the time being, that’s the way it will stay in America. The guys at Boy Genius Report think that this will stay over in Europe for quite a while before it hits the states. That’s a shame, because I know at least four people who would buy this phone the day it came out.
There aren’t many further details at this point, but you can check out BGR’s gallery here. In the mean time, I’ll be hitting re-load on Motorola’s homepage for the next, oh, year or so, until they announce this one will hit America.
